I kinda doubt it's real, but I suppose you never know. Don't hand over any personal details including financial details until you find out 100% either way!

I'm on Android now too - I got a HTC Desire back in April. While Google Maps is much slicker and easier to use than OVI maps, it does still have a major disadvantage and until this disadvantage is resolved, I refuse to use the HTC as a sat-nav. OVI stores its maps on the phone's card whereas Google maps has to download the map in real-time, every time.

When you're in an area with poor reception, it can take ages to download enough map information to see where you're going, especially when you're manually plotting a course. With OVI, you just don't get that problem and the map data is always there regardless of phone reception.

On a totally unrelated topic, I checked out your website because I am from Wales myself and was obviously curious as a result. I see it's currently under construction so please do let me know when it's finished so that I can take a look. Quick tip - "makeover" as in "getting a facelift" is one word, not two. ;)

I used to have an OVI maps phone, changed to Android just before Christmas and actually I found the Google maps navigation better. Yes, it does need to load up but it only takes a few seconds to load the entire area up.

Only thing that does bug me is the woman announcer. She cannot pronounce ethnic sounding names properly ha ha! Sometimes its funny, others a pain because your left unsure what she means.
